What is VitalVivo?+
VitalVivo is a telehealth platform that connects patients with licensed healthcare providers for personalized treatment in areas including weight loss, men's health, women's health, and longevity. We operate in all 50 states and offer bilingual care in English and Spanish.
Is VitalVivo available in my state?+
Yes — VitalVivo operates in all 50 U.S. states. Our providers are licensed in the states where they practice and where you reside, ensuring fully compliant telehealth care nationwide.
Do you offer services in Spanish?+
Absolutely. VitalVivo is a fully bilingual platform. Many of our providers and all of our support staff are fluent in Spanish. You can switch the entire website to Spanish using the language toggle at the top of any page.
Is VitalVivo HIPAA compliant?+
Yes. VitalVivo is fully HIPAA-compliant. All patient data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell patient information. You can review our Notice of Privacy Practices for full details.

How It Works

How do I get started?+
Click "Get Started" on any program page. You'll complete a short online intake form (about 10 minutes). A licensed provider reviews your submission — typically within 24–48 hours — and either approves a treatment plan or requests additional information.
Do I need to schedule an appointment?+
No scheduled appointments are required for most programs. You complete the intake at your convenience and providers respond asynchronously. For some programs, a brief video consultation may be recommended — your provider will let you know if that's needed.
How quickly will I get a response from a provider?+
Most intake reviews are completed within 24–48 hours. Ongoing messages sent through the patient portal are typically answered within a few hours during business hours. Our 24/7 support team is always available for non-clinical questions.
Can I message my provider directly?+
Yes. All VitalVivo plans include unlimited secure messaging with your provider through our HIPAA-compliant patient portal. You can ask questions, report side effects, request adjustments, or simply check in at any time.

Medications & Treatment

Are the medications FDA-approved?+
We offer both FDA-approved branded medications (such as Wegovy® and Zepbound®) and compounded versions of active ingredients prepared in FDA-registered, state-licensed compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications are not individually FDA-approved products, but they are legal and prepared to the same standards. Your provider will discuss your options.
What is a compounded medication?+
Compounded medications are custom-formulated by licensed pharmacists. They contain the same active pharmaceutical ingredients as branded drugs but are made to order, often at lower cost. They are produced in FDA-registered, PCAB-accredited pharmacies and require a physician prescription.
How is medication shipped?+
Medications ship in discreet, temperature-controlled packaging directly from our partner pharmacies to your address. Most patients receive their first shipment within 3–5 business days of prescription approval. Injections and temperature-sensitive medications are shipped with appropriate cold-chain packaging.
What if I have side effects?+
Contact your provider immediately through the patient portal. For most medications, minor side effects can be managed by adjusting dose or timing. Your provider will guide you. In case of a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

Billing & Insurance

Does VitalVivo accept insurance?+
For compounded medications, VitalVivo operates on a direct-pay basis with transparent pricing. For branded medications (Wegovy, Zepbound), our team assists with insurance prior authorization requests and can help you access manufacturer savings programs that can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket cost.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?+
Yes. Most VitalVivo treatments qualify as HSA/FSA-eligible medical expenses. We provide proper itemized receipts and documentation upon request for reimbursement or direct billing to your benefits card.
What is your refund policy?+
Consultations that do not result in a prescription are fully refunded. Medications that have been dispensed cannot be returned (per pharmacy regulations). Subscriptions can be cancelled before the next billing cycle. See our full Refund Policy for details.

Privacy & Security

How is my personal health information protected?+
VitalVivo uses 256-bit encryption for all data in transit and at rest. We are fully HIPAA-compliant and undergo regular third-party security audits. Your health information is never sold or shared with advertisers. Access is restricted to your care team on a need-to-know basis.
Will my employer or insurance company find out I'm using VitalVivo?+
No. Your health information at VitalVivo is confidential under HIPAA. We do not share your records with employers. If you use insurance for branded medications, the insurer will have access to claim data — but for compounded medications on our direct-pay model, no insurance claim is filed.
